Devika is excited to announce the launch of our latest innovation, the Sally Fitzgibbons Art Therapy Experience. This revolutionary virtual reality (VR) experience is designed to assist adults with disabilities in managing anxiety. The culmination of five years of collaboration with Sally Fitzgibbons as a brand ambassador, this project reflects our shared vision for harnessing technology to create a wave of change and a positive impact.

The Sally Fitzgibbons Art Therapy Experience

This innovative VR therapy experience allows participants to immerse themselves in a serene seaside environment where they can paint in 3D space. By merging Sally’s profound connection to the ocean with our technological expertise, we have created an experience that offers therapeutic benefits to individuals who need it the most.

Making an Impact – launch event

The launch event, set to take place on July 12, 2024, at the City Beach Function Centre in Wollongong, will be a significant milestone for Devika and Sally Fitzgibbons. We are excited to unite NDIS and mental health organizations to explore this groundbreaking technology. The event will also include a special presentation of VR technology to The Disabled Surfers Association South Coast Charity, further emphasizing our commitment to making a difference.

Special Guests and Highlights

The event will feature notable guests, including Dr. Caroline Mills, OT & Disability Researcher at Western Sydney University, who pioneered the 2021 pilot of the Evenness VR Sensory Room, and Sarah Walsh, two-time Paralympian and Lifeline Ambassador. These distinguished guests will share their insights into the transformative potential of VR therapy for individuals with disabilities.

Join Us in This Transformative Journey

We encourage NDIS organizations, schools, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and any organizations whose clients could benefit from a calming experience to join us at this event. It promises to engage about 100 stakeholders, including the NDIS community, mental health organizations, and corporate sponsors.
