💪 Devika at AusFitness Expo 2024: Empowering the Fitness Industry with Technology

This past weekend, Devika had the privilege of participating in the AusFitness Expo in Sydney, one of the largest events for fitness enthusiasts, professionals, and businesses across Australia.

The Expo brings together thousands of like-minded individuals passionate about all things health and wellness. For us at Devika, it was an exciting opportunity to connect with Personal Trainers (PTs), gym owners, and founders who are looking to leverage software to transform their businesses.

🎤 Scaling Your Business with Technology: A Keynote by David Tallant

A highlight of the Expo was our very own David Tallant’s opportunity to address industry professionals through his presentation on “Scaling Your Business with Technology.” David was able to share Devika’s mission to enable people with technology in mind, touching on a few case studies of our own fitness clients who have scaled through technology built by Devika.

The first case study David presented was GleanApp, a duo of fitness entrepreneurs who built a bespoke app to reduce manual processes and resulting in over 5k signups on day 1. The second case study was Ash Lane, an online PT whose business model is bespoke, and therefore required a bespoke technology solution that off the shelf options couldn’t provide to allow her to grow her business.

🎨 Sally Fitzgibbons Virtual Reality Art Therapy Experience

Visitors to our booth had the opportunity to test out our Virtual Reality Experience, built in collaboration with Former World #1 Sally Fitzgibbons. The experience allows users to paint a surfboard by the ocean, and experience the calming, anxiety reducing effects of the ocean. Testing out the VR equipment was very popular, especially among children attending the event!
